This Illuminated World Is Full Of Stupid Men

Inspired by the delirious dribble paintings of Jackson Pollock and the demented drivel sprouted by monotheistic clerics, the film is a celebration of difference and other ways of making and being. My daughter Eden is filmed drawing and then painting onto a sheet of Perspex three religious figures and John Barley Corn. She then titles the work as if onto the lens of the camera; This Illuminated World is Full of Stupid Men.   

No need to elaborate works – merely say something that can be murmured in the ear of a drunkard or a dying man.
